Creepy stuff! I just blogged an article from fellow diggr obeezy that kind of notes another "Big Brother 2.0 shock factor". The article discusses monitoring of free incoming AND outgoing phone calls from your computer over VOIP, traded for ad revenue on the site. Author of the article notes it's not much different from privacy than Gmail because computers are able to analyze all of our email messages and online encounters. At first I thought the article was about cell phone call monitoring - I was like NO WAY! But a lot of people use Skype online, I've used the incoming AIM Phoneline free phone #, and I would NEVER think so speak over my computer mic anything that I wouldn't want the world to know. Still...a little more comfort in the privacy realm would be nice with all these warpspeed 2.0 advancements racing fullsteam ahead.
